The deadline is Wednesday for donations to the Toys for Tots drive through the Nevada Department of Public Safety’s Capitol Police sponsored by the US Marine Corps Reserves.
Your generous donations of unwrapped new toys, bicycles or warm clothing would be appreciated. Donation bins are placed at:
The Capitol, The Governor’s Mansion, The Attorney General’s Office, The Department of Motor Vehicles and The Supreme Court building in Carson City.
Target age group: Toddler through 13 years
Goal date: Please have donations in by Wednesday, Dec. 16. Donations after will not be turned away.
There will be a donation presentation in the lobby of The Nevada State Capitol building on Friday, Dec. 18, at 10 a.m. Santa Claus and his helpers, along with the US Marine Reserves, will be there.
