Carson City residents have three chances to chime in about the city’s strategic plan. You can fill out a survey here or attend two public open houses. The first is Thursday, March 26, noon to 2 p.m. and from 5 to 7 p.m. at Fuji Park Exhibit Hall.

The second open house is Monday, March 30, at the Carson City Community Center Sierra Room, 851 East William Street from noon to 2 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m.

Over the past year, the Board of Supervisors, management, and staff of Carson City have developed a draft strategic plan to help guide future investments and priorities. The plan includes goals, objectives, and strategies that will help the city achieve its vision and mission. The city will track progress through performance measures and regular reporting to the Board of Supervisors. Departmental action plans and the City’s annual budget will be developed to align with the plan.

The city asks for feedback regarding the components of the draft strategic plan. You can provide feedback by completing the strategic planning community survey (using the “Start Survey” button below) and/or by attending one of the strategic planning open houses.

Go here to complete a one page public comment survey by Friday, April 3. (“Start Survey” button is below)
