Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies responded Sunday evening to a structure fire at Scoobyz Thrift Store on Highway 50 East near Gordon Street.
According to dispatch, two callers reported flames coming from the thrift store at around 5 p.m. A Carson City Fire Department battalion chief located a small fire in the front of the building and had it quickly knocked down within a minute or so of arrival.
Scoobyz Thrift Store is located at 3569 Highway 50 East.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
