A 31-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Tuesday, 9:33 p.m. in the 1600 block of Airport Road for misdemeanor suspicion of domestic battery and resisting an officer, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
According to the arrest report, deputies were dispatched regarding a domestic dispute and spoke with the male victim outside who said his girlfriend was intoxicated. The deputy observed a small cut above the victim’s his left eye and two small fresh scratches to the left side of his face, and red across his brow line. The man was reluctant to tell the officer what happened but then said his girlfriend had slapped and hit him multiple times.
A deputy knocked on the door and asked to be let inside. The woman knocked back on the door and then went to a window near the door and began to bang on it and stared at the two deputies on scene. The deputy asked the woman, again, to open the door.
She came back to the window with two ceramic coasters and began to bang them against the window. She then came back a third time with a pair of nunchucks, the arrest report states.
She put them against the window, stared at the officers again and then shattered the window with the nunchucks and placed her hands through the broken window. The officer told her to come to the door. The deputy observed blood coming from cuts that were developing on her arms as she began to dig her arms into the glass. Due to the circumstances of her harming herself, the deputy kicked the door to get inside. She was taken to the hospital to address her wounds and then to jail. Bail: $3,489.
