A motor vehicle accident Thursday morning a little after 8 a.m. has closed the westbound travel lanes of Fairview Drive about a block east of Roop Street.
No major injuries are reported. However, one vehicle occupant is complaining of back pain and Carson City Firefighter-Paramedics are responding.
According to emergency crews on scene, the accident involved two vehicle in a rear-end collision.
Motorists in the area can expect delays and should seek an alternate route.
