On Saturday, volunteers from the local nonprofit Friends To All brought joy and holiday cheer to more than 100 senior citizens residing in Carson City.
Twelve spirited teams of Santas and Helpers visited homes across the community, delivering warm smiles, festive greetings, and companionship during the holiday season. The annual tradition, organized by Friends To All, ensures that seniors —many of whom live alone — feel remembered and celebrated at this special time of year.

“Our mission is simple: to let seniors know they are valued and loved by Touching Hearts with a Visit,” said Gwen Pradere, President of Friends To All. “The holidays can be a lonely time for some, and we are honored to bring a little joy into their homes.”
Thanks to generous gifts from the community, volunteers were able to provide small items, and special Santa Cookie created by TJ’s Heavenly Sweets and gift cards that make a meaningful difference for seniors living on fixed incomes.
Friends To All is a Carson City-based 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to brightening the lives of senior citizens through personal visits, companionship, and community support. Each holiday season, volunteers dress as Santas and Helpers to deliver cheer, gifts, and heartfelt connections to seniors across the city. For more information, please visit their website here.
