This week’s It’s Your City with host Cortney Bloomer features Carson High senior Taylor Weddell who is organizing an attempt to break a world record by getting the community to rally this Saturday to create the world’s largest human Christmas Tree.
The event will be at the Carson High School Football Field. Gates open at 10 a.m., and the record attempt begins at 11 a.m. This is an all-ages event, but keep in mind the cold weather and participants must STAND STILL for six minutes for the record to count. Please wear red, green or brown clothing.
All participants must provide their name and address before we can begin, so we suggest coming at 10 a.m. Hot Chocolate and Coffee will be sold. We’ll also have some entertainment. Parking at the high school is limited, so carpooling is encouraged. More information can be found on the Facebook event page here.
