Today, there is one less building gracing the Carson City skyline. The monstrosity known as the Kinkead Building is now gone forever, reduced to steel and cinderblock rubble — a decades long lesson in shoddy architecture.
State employees surrounded the area cheering its demise and basked in a blanket of dust as it finally crashed to the ground. A man enthusiastically yells “U.S.A. Yeah,” as his fellow coworkers applaud. See the whole thing for yourself in the video below.
