Carson City Fire Department and Nevada Highway Patrol were called early Tuesday evening to a vehicle crash at Highway 50 East and Centennial Park Drive.

According to dispatch, a reporting party called at 5:18 p.m. advising of the crash in the eastbound lane. Arriving Carson City Fire Department reported moderate damage. No serious injuries were reported.

Motorists can expect delays.

In other incidents:

— A Carson City Sheriff’s Office deputy hit a deer with their patrol vehicle. The deputy was not injured. The deer, however, was badly injured. The incident was reported at around 5:30 p.m. in the area of North Stewart and Roop Street. The roadway was temporarily blocked so the deputy could safely dispatch the deer.

— A crash late Tuesday afternoon on South Carson Street that was initially called into dispatch as being an injury accident turned out to be a crash where there were no injuries.

The person who had called dispatch initially said they wanted to be checked out following the crash at South Carson Street and Appion Way. The reporting party advised both drivers were uninjured and no emergency response was needed. The crash was reported at 4:42 p.m.

Both vehicle drivers pulled into a convenience store parking lot and called dispatch saying they declined an emergency response.
