It’s that time of year again to arrange a visit by Santa on Christmas Eve. Good cheer and a visit from Santa Claus will be the order of this special evening, thanks to the Carson City Sheriff’s Office Volunteer Uniform Reserve Unit. This special visit has been a Carson City tradition for more than 30-plus years.

Carson City residents who would like Santa to visit their home Christmas Eve can call the Santa Hotline at (775) 283-4728 to reserve your spot.

Please leave a message with Santa’s elves, and do not forget to leave your name, address, contact phone number, number of children, location of gifts you will be leaving out to be distributed, and the approximate time you would like Santa to visit.

Please understand this visit is limited to residents of Carson City only, and Santa has numerous other locations to visit. Therefore, Santa will likely only be with you for a quick 10-15-minute visit before having to dash away!

Visiting hours will be scheduled beginning at 5 p.m. and will conclude by 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025, Christmas Eve.

Visits may vary 30 minutes on either side of the requested time. The Santa Hotline will be available through Friday, Dec. 12, 2025. Santa visits are limited to the first 60 homes.

Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated by the Carson City Sheriff’s Reserve Unit at the time of your Santa visit. Proceeds are used to offset the costs of uniforms, training, equipment, and duty gear for the Reserve Deputies that selflessly volunteer their time to CCSO and the Carson City community.

Please join all the families who look forward to this annual event and become part of this fun spirit filled Carson City tradition.
