FISH believes that families, veterans, and seniors going through hard times deserve a “hand-up” so they can become self-sufficient. Our Ranchos Family Service Center is helping to change lives of Douglas County residents with food, clothing, training, life skills, budgeting, employment, and community referrals.

The Ranchos Center is open 10 to 5 on Fridays and 9 to 1 on Saturdays. FISH is 99% locally funded … we don’t use local or state tax dollars. Every dollar donated stays in our community!

In recognition of our work, a foundation (who wishes to remain anonymous) has agreed to match donations, dollar for dollar, up to $10,000. So, every dollar you give us turns into $2.

FISH is asking the community for help to take advantage of this year-end opportunity so we can help the less fortunate in our community. The grant, as well as the matching funds, will exclusively go to support the FISH Ranchos Family Service Center on Mitch Drive.

If you believe in our “hand-up, not a hand-out’ philosophy, help us help them by donating. To donate on-line go to: www.nvfish.com , click on our “donate” button, then select the “Ranchos Family Resource Center” option; or send a check made out to FISH, to our Minden Thrift store: 1561 Hwy 395, Minden, NV 89423. If donating by check, please write “matching fund” on the memo line of the check.

Together, we can make a huge difference in the lives of our neighbors in need.
