Carson City Fire Department and sheriff’s deputies were called at around 4:30 p.m. to a motorcycle crash involving a vehicle in the area of South Carson and Snyder near Overland. Arriving firefighters on scene report the injured motorcyclist was down, and called for a medical helicopter.
The condition of the rider is unknown at this time. The rider was being flown to the trauma ward of Renown Medical Center in Reno. The crash happened in the southbound lane. Motorists can expect delays.
