About 30 NV Energy customers in the area of North Division on the west side of Carson City were without power late Friday morning. The outage happened at around 11:15 a.m. The cause is under investigation, according to NV Energy. Wind gusts of between 30 to 50 mph are expected today as a weather system moves into the region, according to the National Weather Service.
