Carson City Juvenile Service’s upcoming monthly Parent Engagement Nights are Wednesday, Nov. 20, and Thursday, Nov. 21 from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm at Carson City Juvenile Services, located at 740 S. Saliman Road Carson City.
During both events, Carson City Juvenile Services is partnering with Carson City Health and Human Services to talk about e-cigarettes and vaping products, the extent of the youth vaping epidemic, short-term and long-term effects of vaping, help parents how to talk to their children and provide resources for quitting tobacco products, including electronic cigarettes.
These classes will be taught in English on Wednesday, and Spanish on Thursday. Anyone can attend, including youth! For more information on these events, contact Mayela Quintanilla at 775-283-7642 or email at mquintanilla@carson.org
Carson City Juvenile Services offers Walk-In and Crisis Intervention Services to anyone in the community in need of supportive services with their youth.
