UPDATE 2:44AM: At approximately 1 a.m. Saturday morning missing Dayton juvenile Macon Silvey, 11, was located. He is in good health and has been returned to his family. Sheriff Al McNeil wants to thank the deputies, Lyon County Search & Rescue, the RAVEN helicopter crew from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office and community volunteers involved in the search for their selfless efforts to find the juvenile.

UPDATE 8:26PM: From Dayton resident Danielle Hull-Seitz: Lyon County Search and Rescue teams have been deployed, looking for the missing boy along stretches of the Carson River. The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office has search crews looking in neighborhoods and citizens who have met up at Riverview Elementary have been asked to go door-to-door asking residents if they have seen the boy.

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to locate Macon Silvey, 11 years old, who went missing Friday afternoon in the area of the Rolling A Recreational Area of Dayton. Macon is an insulin dependent diabetic.
He is described as 5 feet 1 inches and weighs approximately 80 pounds, he has blond hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a long-sleeve white t-shirt, gray sweatpants, and gray and red Under Armor shoes, and was last seen in the area of Rolling A Recreational Area between 3:30 pm and 3:45 pm.
