This week, we are thrilled to introduce Thunder, a truly magnificent and substantial young tabby whose personality is as vibrant as his classic stripes. At just under two years old, Thunder is a big handsome boy who is the perfect combo of chill and playful. He is a confident and very affectionate guy who is ready to explore the world—and your heart!
As a proud member of our current group of “Terrific Tabbies,” Thunder is highly social and thrives on interaction. He is a champion at getting pets and attention, actively seeking out human company and repaying it with a deep, happy purr.
Thunder lives up to his big name by delivering big love! He loves attention and will soak up every pet and scratch you offer. He is an active boy who enjoys playtime. Feather wands, laser pointers, and chasing toys are must-haves for his new home. When not playing or enjoying affection from his humans, Thunder loves to just chill on a cat tree and watch the world go by.

Having grown up with a lot of cat siblings, Thunder would ideally love to be adopted with one of the other tabbies from his group! He could likely become friends with a resident cat, as long as they are friendly with other cats. is excellent with other friendly cats. Thunder is looking for a safe and comfortable home environment. It is unknown how he would be with a dog, and he would likely not do well in a home with very small children. Children school age and up would likely be fine with him as long as the home isn’t super noisy and active.
If you are looking for a loyal, engaging, and adorable companion who offers the full package—good looks, great personality, and a huge heart—Thunder is ready to join your family. Giving him the chance to bring along a friend would be a dream come true! He is ready to go – neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his vaccines. Interested in adopting Thunder (and maybe a friend!) such as one of our other fellow Terrific Tabbies? Come meet them today! We are open Friday – Sunday from 11am to 4 pm at 1829 Brown Street. Please arrive early if you plan to adopt.
