Chelsea Kincheloe, Volunteer Coordinator Parks and Rec
On Thursday Nov. 1 the St. Teresa of Avila Catholic School completed an All Saints Day service project out at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
A group of 35 students came out to rake leaves at the cemetery, focusing their attention on the Catholic sections.
After a 90 minute span of working, the group cleaned up 44 bags of leaves.
The Carson City Parks, Recreation & Open Space department is extremely grateful for the group and appreciate the volunteers taking time to honor those who have passed.
