There wasn’t an official Nevada Day parade in the state capital this year, but Western Nevada College’s “Reverse Parade” in Carson City brought some festivities on Saturday.

From 2 to 4 p.m., dozens of classic cars, costumes, live music provided by the Brewery Arts Center and handfuls of candy filled the WNC parking lot for drive-thru attendees. Several parade entries made appearances, including the WNC Automation Industrial Technology Center’s Tech Express Lab.

The excitement and festivities continue later this evening at the WNC parking lot. From 6 to 10 p.m., the college will also be hosting a Made in Nevada Film Festival Drive-In, presented by Carson City Toyota.

A series of classic and modern films will be available to watch for interested participants. Visit the link here for more here.
