A Nevada Day tradition, the annual pancake breakfast at the Governor’s Mansion is hosted by the Carson City Republican Women’s Club. Proceeds go toward scholarships of $1,000 each to two deserving seniors from Carson and Dayton High Schools.
Elsewhere, Nevada Builders Alliance Nevada Day Breakfast offered a buffet breakfast at Red’s Old 395 Grill serving up mountains of pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and potatoes.
And continuing on with its tradition in downtown, Carson Lodge #1 Free & Accepted Masons serves its annual pancake breakfast to all during the Nevada Day Parade. Up on the north end, Living the Good Life on Adams and Carson streets began bright and early Saturday morning with its second annual breakfast burrito with bacon bloody marys, dishing up to all those preparing parade floats.
