Carson City’s hometown roller derby team, the Carson Victory Rollers, went toe-stop to toe-stop with Nevada East in a Nevada Day bout organized to raise money for the victims and families of the Oct. 1 Las Vegas mass shooting.

The derby was held Saturday night under the roof of the Marv Teixeira Pavilion at Mills Park where a loud hometown crowd cheered on the Victory Rollers.
