The Carson City Sheriff’s Office escorted about 500 Vietnam Veterans as they rode through the city on their bikes. They were escorting the Traveling Vietnam Veterans Memorial that is being erected at Mills Park as part of Battle Born Days and the Nevada Day Festivities. The Downtown Business Association merchants were on hand to wave flags and cheer them on.
