Nevada Builders Alliance (NBA), the state’s largest professional organization representing the building industry and affiliated sectors, has appointed Jeff Sutich as its new chief executive officer.

“With his deep experience in economic development and infrastructure and a long-standing commitment to Nevada’s growth, Jeff is the right leader to guide the Nevada Builders Alliance into its next chapter,” said Melissa Maguire, board president of the Nevada Builders Alliance. “His vision and understanding of both the public and private sectors will help expand the Alliance’s reach and impact as we continue to build a stronger Nevada.”

With more than 15 years of experience in economic development, infrastructure and international trade, Sutich brings extensive public- and private-sector expertise to the Alliance. He previously served as Executive Director of the Northern Nevada Development Authority (NNDA), where he oversaw regional economic development and business expansion efforts across multiple counties.

Earlier in his career, Sutich served as a labor economist for the State of Nevada and held global trade positions with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development and the Nevada Department of Agriculture, representing the state in more than 60 countries and during NAFTA negotiations. His leadership in global trade earned congressional and senatorial recognition for advancing Nevada’s international business outreach. He later joined NV Energy as a Business Development Executive, helping align infrastructure and industrial growth needs across the state.

“I’m thrilled to join the team at Nevada Builders Alliance as we continue to move the construction and building industry forward on a path of success for our state,” said Jeff Suitch, chief executive officer for the Nevada Builders Alliance. “My career has given me valuable insight on the needs of our state, including demands for workforce development, technical career programs and ways to further diversify our economy and the Alliance is especially poised to lead that conversation.”

A sixth-generation Nevadan from Spring Creek, Sutich holds a Master of Business Administration, a Bachelor of Arts in International Business and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of Nevada, Reno. He lives in Northern Nevada with his wife Jenny and their two children. Sutich is committed to supporting Nevada’s builders, advancing workforce opportunities and ensuring a strong foundation for the state’s future economic vitality.
