Here is the Carson City area road report for the week of Oct. 14-20, 2024. Closures or lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road and utility work:
— 2nd Street between Carson Street and Curry Street will be closed to westbound traffic from April 8, 2024, to June 30, 2025, for construction.
— Curry Street between King Street and 2nd Street will be closed to traffic on Monday, from 5:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Lane restrictions are expected at the following locations due to road/utility work:
— Center Drive near the intersection of Topsy Lane will be reduced to a single lane from Sept. 16, 2024, to Nov. 26, 2024, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
— College Parkway between Roop Street and Research way will have reduced lanes Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
— Edmonds Drive at the intersection of Koontz Lane will have intermittent northbound lane shifts Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
— North Ormsby Boulevard between Newman Place and Washington Street will have reduced lanes from Sept. 16, 2024, to Oct. 18, 2024, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
— Retail Drive between College Parkway and Bernhard Way will have reduced lanes Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
— Roop Street between Northridge Drive and Bernhard Way will have reduced lanes Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
— Topsy Lane near the Lyla Lane will be reduced to a single lane from Sept. 16, 2024, to Nov. 26, 2024, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
— Wright Way between Stewart Street and Oregon Street will be reduced to a single lane from Oct. 7 to Oct. 31, 7:00 am to 5:00 pm.
