Carson City Fire Department, sheriff’s deputies and the Nevada Highway Patrol responded Sunday night to a vehicle accident on I-580 in the southbound lane near Lakeview hill.
The single vehicle accident, called into dispatch at 9:46 p.m., involves a white sedan that hit the divider wall and spun out, according to arriving first responders. The single occupant of the vehicle is a 23-year-old male who suffered minor injuries, according to an officer on scene.
Traffic was being held near the accident scene. Motorists can expect some delays. NHP is the investigating agency.
