After 41 years, the South Carson Street Arby’s has quietly closed.
The restaurant first opened in 1985 at 1122 S. Carson Street. It’s changed owners just a handful of times, and has remained in operation continuously since its opening.
The building underwent a few renovations in its time: once in 2006, and again in 2017. At this time, signs on the door direct customers to the newer location at 2943 Highway 50 E., which opened just a few years ago.
According to the Carson City Planning Division, there are no current permits or plans that have been applied for at this time, so its future, for now, remains a mystery.
