CARSON CITY — Tammy Lancaster has been appointed to the position of Director of Finance for the Nevada Rural Housing Authority. Prior to joining NRHA, she served as Corporate Controller for Rite of Passage, an operator of residential treatment facilities, qualifying houses and schools for at-risk youth around the country.

Lancaster’s financial management experience includes a wide variety of sectors including non-profit and government, education, hospitality, manufacturing and real estate development. Her extensive real estate experience includes working with publicly traded construction companies with large-scale developments in California.

Lancaster is a Certified Management Accountant and former college accounting professor with a BS and an MBA from California State University, San Bernardino.

In addition to her volunteer work with Nevada Greyhounds Unlimited, she served on the Volunteer Committee for Douglas County’s Kids’ Fishing Derby from 2008-2013, including a term as President.
