Nevada Health Centers’ Mammovan returns to Carson City this Wednesday and in Northern Nevada in October to kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month, giving women access to critically important screenings with affordable exams.
Celebrating its 25th year, the Mammovan continually travels the state, stopping in communities to accommodate women who are due for a mammography screening.
The Mammovan will be in Carson City at the Sierra Nevada Health Center, 3325 Research Way on Wednesday, Sept. 30 from 7:40 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. It will also be in Reno on Thursday, Oct. 1, at First Street next to City Plaza near Believe sign.
The following week, Oct. 6-9, it will continue with stops in Carson City on Oct. 6 from 7:40 to 3:20 p.m., Gardnerville on Oct. 7, 1559 Watacheamu at the Washoe Tribal Health Center and Reno, including participating in the Family Health Festival at the Reno Livestock Events Center on Thursday, Oct. 8.Â
