The event marks a new chapter for Reconnect 180 as it expands its presence and strengthens its mission to break barriers, inspire hope, and create meaningful opportunities for successful reentry.

Reconnect 180, a Carson City–based nonprofit dedicated to transforming the reintegration journey for individuals returning to society after incarceration, invites the community to its Launch and Open House on Wednesday, Oct. 1, from 4 to 7 p.m. at The Studio, 177 W. Proctor Street, Carson City. A special presentation will take place at 5 p.m.

This community event marks a new chapter for Reconnect 180 as it expands its presence and strengthens its mission to break barriers, inspire hope, and create meaningful opportunities for successful reentry. Attendees will have the chance to meet the team, learn more about the organization’s programs, and hear firsthand how Reconnect 180 is changing the narrative of reintegration in Nevada.

“Reentry is about more than a second chance — it’s about rewriting the story,” said Jacquin Webb, founder of Reconnect 180. “Our launch event is not only about introducing who we are, but also about opening the doors for our community to stand with us in supporting individuals as they rebuild their lives.”

Jacquin Webb, founder of Reconnect 180

Founded by Webb, who personally experienced the challenges of reentry after serving 20 years in the Nevada Department of Corrections, Reconnect 180 is uniquely positioned to drive systemic change. Through life skills training, transitional planning, and hands-on support, the organization ensures that formerly incarcerated individuals have the tools, resources, and encouragement they need to thrive.
