Carson City, Nev. (Sept. 26, 2025) — Homecoming celebrations in Carson City kicked off yesterday afternoon with an assembly, and Carson High School was pleased to announce the student-nominated candidates.
Candidates making up the Queen’s Homecoming Court included (alphabetically by last name) Gloria Dooley, Abby Franco, Abi Mehlhaff, Kellyn Moyle, Cali Stagliano and Sophie Wahl. Candidates making up the King’s Homecoming Court included (alphabetically by last name) Landen Anderson, Nicholas Heald, Kaiden Kuhlman, Thomas Raab, Ryker Russell and Ashton Wilkin.

The western-themed, week-long events next week will feature day and nighttime activities the whole school may enjoy, including dress-up days, a bonfire, line dancing, a comedy show, games, decoration contests, pep rallies and more. Additionally, the school will be collecting items throughout the week for the Reno Rodeo Foundation’s Denim Drive.
The Homecoming activities will culminate Friday, Oct. 3, with a parade on the football field at 6:30 p.m. and the official coronation during halftime of the varsity football game versus Hug High School. The Homecoming Dance for Carson High School students will be held Saturday, Oct. 4, from 7-10 p.m.
