Fall is officially here and summer has gone … to the dogs.

Area canines and their owners gave summer and the outdoor pool at the Carson City Aquatic Facility a proper send off Saturday during the Carson Animal Services Initiative (CASI) Pooch Plunge, an annual fundraiser that helps “Critter Fixer,” a low-cost spay and neuter voucher program run by CASI.
