NV Energy is reporting a power outage along Goni Road in North Carson City.
The outage was reported at around 1:20 p.m. Thursday, and appears to have been caused by a folding canopy that hit nearby power lines.
Carson City Fire Department was dispatched to the area following a report of lines down due to a foldable canopy structure that had struck the power lines.
Firefighters, however, found no downed power lines. They did locate and secure the canopy structure.
NV Energy reports as many as 26 power customers are affected by the outage.
Power is expected to be restored by 4 p.m. Thursday afternoon.
