Who doesn’t love a good football game? Even better, who doesn’t love a good tailgate party? Nevada Humane Society is always up for a good time, so this year the cats and dogs are taking it to the next level — by hosting a TAILgate Party at the shelter now through Monday, Sept. 19.
During this time, you can visit either shelter (one in Reno and one in Carson City) and adopt an adorable football-loving companion for a reduced fee — because yes, there are football jerseys for pets too. All cats and dogs are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
· Adult Dogs $50 (not including puppies or specially priced dogs)
· Adult Cats Under Age Three $25
· Adult Cats Over Age Three FREE
· Kittens $60
College football is underway too so now is the perfect time to adopt a buddy to share in the game day spirit. Remember, not only does your dog love to throw the football, but he’ll happily watch the game with you from the comfort of the couch too.
