Cactus Jacks Senator Club in Carson City plans to refurbish the world famous Howdy, which has been waving to residents and guests along Carson Street for 39 years. The work commenced this morning.
“Downtown Carson City is easier than ever to navigate with the bypass going around town,” said George Higgins, Cactus Jacks property manager. “We are excited to continuously improve Cactus Jacks and give Howdy a new suit.”
Cactus Jacks Senator Club will celebrate its 39th anniversary and Howdy’s new suit on Oct. 2, from 3 p.m. until 9 p.m. Guests will win free cash, prizes and a slot machine at the end of the evening.
