Carson City Fire Department was called Tuesday afternoon to a brush fire in the area of Snyder Avenue due east of Northern Nevada Correctional Center.
The call came into dispatch shortly before 3 p.m. of a possible brush fire burning near the prison. Carson City Fire Department was en route. It is unknown at this time how large the fire is or if structures are threatened.
