The Nevada Highway Patrol, a division of the Nevada State Police, and participating law enforcement agencies are joining forces in a pedestrian safety campaign to remind pedestrians and drivers to be aware of each other and to share the road responsibly.
The campaign began Friday, Sept. 5 and will continue through Sept. 22, 2025.
From Jan. 1 through July 31, 2025, 58 pedestrians tragically lost their lives on Nevada’s roadways, according to Zero Fatalities Nevada.
The Nevada Highway Patrol remains dedicated to bringing the number of fatalities on our roadways to zero through traffic safety education, enforcement and promoting safe pedestrian and motorist behavior.
