Carson City, NV – On September 18 at 1:00 p.m., the public is invited to the ribbon cutting and open house of the new Fire Station 55 and Emergency Operations Center (EOC) located at 3645 Butti Way, Carson City, NV 89701.
The open house will give the public an opportunity to tour the new fire station and emergency operations center. Parking will be available on the north side of Butti Way, as well as on the west side of the new fire station and at the Public Works employee parking lot.
The 18,000-square-foot facility will serve as a fire station, an emergency operations center, and a backup dispatch station. The new fire station aims to improve emergency response times for residents in the eastern part of Carson City.

The EOC utilizes advanced technology to assist the City in responding to wildfires, earthquakes, extreme weather events, and other emergencies.
The facility was designed by TSK Architects and built by Core Construction. The project represents an $18.4 million investment in the Carson City community, marking the fifth fire station in Carson City.
Public Works managed the delivery of the project, coordinating with the various City departments, the design team, and contractors—refreshments provided by Core Construction.
