Four-legged residents posed a curiosity for participants of the September Wine Walk, a monthly event sponsored by Carson City’s Downtown Business Association.

There was a working cart horse, pulling a taxi wagon as a courtesy for wine walkers who needed a lift around town.

And there were also mule deer grazing lazily upon lawns and grasses along the historic downtown Carson City Blue Line Trail, where much of the Wine Walk takes place.

The DBA Wine Walk occurs rain or shine the first Saturday of every month all year around in downtown Carson City.
