Carson City area casinos saw gaming revenue climb by 10.35 percent in the month of July compared July 2014, the Nevada Gaming Control Board said Friday.
Casinos in Carson City, Gardnerville, Minden and all other areas of Douglas County except Stateline reported generating $8,979,729 in gaming revenue, also known as “gaming win” for the month. Gaming figures statewide decreased by nearly 1 percent.
Elsewhere, casinos at south shore Lake Tahoe saw a 7 percent decline and North Lake casinos a 5.6 percent decrease. Casinos in Reno generated nearly 6 percent in gaming revenue over July 2014 figures, and Washoe County, 4.86 percent.
