...A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 PM PDT FOR STOREY...SOUTHERN WASHOE AND NORTH CENTRAL LYON COUNTIES...
At 137 PM PDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado
was located near Derby Dam, or 16 miles northeast of Virginia City,
moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without
shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage
to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is
likely.
This dangerous storm will be near...
Derby Dam around 140 PM PDT.
Fernley around 155 PM PDT.
Other locations impacted by this tornadic thunderstorm include
Fernley - Tiger Field Airport and Wadsworth.

TAKE COVER NOW! Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
sturdy building. Avoid windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile
