On August 2, the Carson City Elks Lodge #2177 was out in force to provide drug awareness goodie bags to kids and cooked 2,000 hotdogs, to help support our First Responders on Sheriff’s Night Out at Mills Park. Parents and their children had a fun time visiting the various booths of local businesses who also were out in support to our first responders.

The BPOE has the largest all volunteer Drug Awareness Program (DAP) in the Country. For over 32 years, the Elks have been providing free educational materials to children, parents and schools to make the public aware of the dangers drugs have on this society. Stand with us, as we educate our youth and assist our Federal Law Enforcement Officers.
