Carson City Symphony ‘Strings in the Summer’ concert set for Aug. 4
The “Strings in the Summer” concert is set for Friday, Aug. 4. at noon. This is a free concert and the final session of the strings program called “Rhythm and Alternative.”
CHS Class of 1983 Reunion takes place Aug. 4
The Class of 1983 would like to welcome any other classes from CHS. Friday night all are invited for food & entertainment. The Tap Shack on Rice Street is the location of shared memories and fun. Food trucks; Nevada Nosh and Apuna will be present.

The 2023 Classical Tahoe festival presents four weeks of outdoor orchestra, chamber music, and jazz concerts in stunning settings on Lake Tahoe’s North Shore. Join us at the Pavilion on the campus of the University of Nevada, Reno at Lake Tahoe to hear 70 virtuoso musicians from the top orchestras in the country for a festival of concerts and events for music lovers of all ages.

Levitt Amp concert series returns to Carson City’s Brewery Arts Center all summer long
Curley Taylor & Zydeco Trouble is an iconic and innovative zydeco band from the small town of Eunice, Louisiana. Founded by the namesake singer and songwriter, Curley Taylor, their sound is part modern blues, part traditional zydeco and driven by upbeat, party-starting rhythms. Their music draws inspiration from a wide variety of musical styles, ranging from country to R&B. Levitt Amp concert series returns to Carson City’s Brewery Arts Center all summer long
The Levitt Amp Concert Series returns to Carson City beginning June 17 at the Brewery Arts Center under new leadership.
Head on down to the Brewery Art Center’s Exhibition Hall now through Sept. 17 to visit the “Seed of the Movement” art history display.

Desire: CCAI Exhibit at Western Nevada College’s Bristlecone Gallery through Sept. 14
Eunkang Koh said, “My recent work responds to lifestyles and thinking processes that are often ruled by consumerism.” In her “Desire” exhibition for the Capital City Arts Initiative, Koh presents sculptures and prints laced with diversity and humor.
