New information has surfaced regarding two female suspects wanted for questioning after one allegedly made off with money in an illegal ticket transaction at a Carson City casino.

The Carson City Sheriff’s Office Investigation Division is asking the public’s for assistance in locating two women. Detectives have also included a new photo of the vehicle they were last seen leaving in, a gray or silver older model van.

On Sunday, July 22, at around 1:55 a.m., a customer at Casino Fandango, 3800 South Carson Street in Carson City, attempted to cash out their winnings from a slot machine. When the slot machine malfunctioned, the customer went to find an attendant. The slot machine then printed out the gaming ticket.

According to sheriff’s investigators, shortly thereafter a white female with blonde hair was observed taking the ticket from the gaming machine. The female suspect then cashed out the ticket at a cashier kiosk for an undisclosed amount of money and left the casino.

Carson City investigators thought they had a positive identification of the woman but learned it was not the same person.

A second female who was near the suspect seen in the photos when the incident happened were both seen leaving together in the van. The female suspect in the photo is described as white female adult with long blonde hair. The suspect was wearing a red shirt and black shorts.

It is illegal to redeem gaming tickets if the person was not the player of the gaming machine. This offense is also investigated by the State of Nevada Gaming Control Board.
