During the 2018 Carson City Fair, Carson Now held a coloring contest which produced 53 excellent entries, voted on by 433 voters. The entries were on display through the weekend in the exhibition hall of Fuji Park.

First place goes to Kadence, age 10. She and her brother James, featured in the photo, are in 4H. They are raising 57 chickens and 2 ducks. Kadence won Best of Show with her rooster and she also placed 1st in the junior showmanship competition. James is in the cloverbud program, and Kadence is also in the Carson Cluckers.

Second place to Neva, age 11.
As seen in the photo, Neva and her sisters are proud of Neva for her 2nd place winning entry into the Carson City Fair coloring contest. Rene and Vivi participate in 4H and Neva is in Girl Scouts in our community!

Third place to Tristan, age 5. Tristan’s mom and dad run a 4H Cloverbuds Club for 5-8 year olds. They focus on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities.
