Despite the high temperatures Thursday afternoon in Carson City, fair lovers flocked to Fuji Park to enjoy the pre-weekend Fair festivities.

The carnival is up and running, with rides from a classic fun house and a towering super slide, to modern additions such as an “America Ninja Warrior” obstacle course.

The fair will run through the weekend.
