The Lyon County Road Department has closed the Ramsey Weeks cutoff between Highway 50 and US 95A in Silver Springs to clean mud and debris from a flash flood that happened Monday afternoon.
The county has also asked Lyon County dispatch to conduct a Code Red (reverse 9-1-1) notification to residents in east Mason Valley to advise of a strong possibility of flash flooding coming from the Wassuk Mountain Range later this afternoon.
