The popular cake chain will be opening a new location on Topsy Lane

The popular bundt-cake themed bakery Nothing Bundt Cakes is opening a new location at Topsy Lane near the county line of Carson City and Douglas County, according to a jobs posting search for a store general manager.

According to the listing, the new location will be opening up at Topsy Lane. The Reno team confirmed a new location is coming, but could not provide an opening date until details are finalized. 

While it has since gone national with its headquarters in Dallas, Nothing Bundt Cakes first location opened in Las Vegas in 1997. 

Sine then, its expanded to 800 locations across the US and Canada, with the Carson area location soon to be added to their roster.

The brand is known for their bundt cakes topped with cream cheese frosting, ranging in sizes from bite-sized “Bundtinis,” to personal-sized “Bundtlets” to traditional sharing-sized. The brand has been a popular birthday cake choice in Northern Nevada since their Reno location first opened the summer of 2007. 

That location is still running today nearly 20 years later at 5051 S. McCarran Boulevard
