Frankie Supervising Catmandu Makeover

Thanks to the efforts of a small but extremely dedicated group of Catmandu volunteers as well as some amazing volunteers and donations from the community, the makeover at Catmandu is proceeding at a steady pace. We have made real progress and the place is looking great!

Unfortunately, there is still a lot of work to be done and everything is taking longer than anticipated. This is likely not a surprise to anyone that has ever dealt with remodeling and construction. Nothing is ever as easy as you hope and more areas needing help showed themselves as we dug into the work.

As a result of the increased scope of repairs and improvements, there is just no way we can have everything done and meet the original re-opening date of July 28.

Consequently, Catmandu will remain closed for renovation until August 18th.

We regret the delay but simply have no choice. It will absolutely be worth the additional time it is taking to get the makeover done. The new Catmandu is going to be amazing when it re-opens August 18th and we will be much better able to help the cats in our care and in the community.

Thank you so much to everyone that has helped, either physically or with a donation. We appreciate your patience and support. Meow!
