The Carson City School District invites local job seekers to its upcoming Job Fair, an opportunity to connect directly with district hiring representatives and Edustaff, the district’s official partner for substitute staffing.

The event will be held Tuesday, July 22 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Carson City School District Office Board Room, 1402 W. King Street, Carson City.

The district has immediate openings for a variety of positions, including bus drivers, para-professionals (instructional assistants), custodians, distance education assistants, licensed teachers and more.

“These roles play an essential part in supporting our students, schools and community,” said Dan Sadler, Chief Human Resources Officer for the Carson City School District. “We are proud to work alongside Edustaff to strengthen our substitute pool and fill these critical positions.”

Edustaff, the district’s substitute staffing partner, will be on-site and ready to hire for substitute teacher roles. Anyone with a high school diploma is eligible to become a substitute, making this a great option for individuals who want to contribute to local schools with flexible scheduling.

  • Sixth through eighth grade Science teacher (Eagle Valley Middle School)
