Sierra Nevada Realtors will host its annual Document Destruction Days in Reno and Carson City.
The Carson City shredding event will be held Saturday, July 18, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Sierra Nevada Realtors Carson City Office, 300 S. Curry Street.
The Reno event is Saturday, July 11, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Sierra Nevada Realtors Reno Office, 10509 Professional Circle.
The free community events provide residents with a safe and secure way to dispose of confidential documents while supporting the Sierra Nevada Realtors Foundation.
The events are open to both SNR members and the public and are designed to help individuals protect themselves against identity theft and fraud by securely shredding outdated personal records, including bank statements, tax documents, credit card offers, and other sensitive materials.
