Thanks to the staff at the Northern Nevada Coin, raffle tickets for the Friends of the Nevada State Museum are now available at the Nevada Coin’s Carson City location across from the State Museum.
The uncirculated 1884 Carson City Morgan silver dollar, valued at approximately $369, will be awarded to a lucky raffle winner at the upcoming Nevada State Museum Coin Show on Sept. 19. The rare coin is generously donated by Northern Nevada Coin.
Raffle tickets are available for $5 (cash only) each. The coin comes in a collector case and includes a numbered certificate detailing the significance of the Carson City Morgan dollar. The winner does not need to be present at the drawing to win.
The Friends of the Nevada State Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit volunteer organization dedicated to enhancing the understanding of Nevada’s environment and diverse cultures through their work at the State Museum. This includes fundraising for special Museum needs and programs, advocating for enhanced state funding, and fostering a sense of community among the membership.
